I've started our summer vacation album!

I also made a card using the Magnolia Moose!

Simon Says Stamp - Back To School Challenge

Good Morning!
Here is my entry for the 'Back to School' Challenge at Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. I have coloured Tilda with Copics and added some accents with the Spica markers.  I used Magnolia paper with Tim Holtz's fabric ruler.  The die is the 2 part die from Simon Says Stamp - DELICATE DAHLIA - I LOVE the detail of this die.  I used green and red bazzill cardstock. Then, I used the stamp from SSS, too - 'Shoot for the Stars'.
Thanks for looking and have a great school year!!!

It's About Time.....

I wasn't sure about Tim Holtz's new idea about doing one tag per month, instead of his 12 days of Christmas.  However, I have enjoyed using other stamps of his to complete the tags - than just Christmas!! I have just completed June, July and August - but others have been done for awhile.  I thought it was time to post them!!!

This first card is a stamp from Penny Black that I just couldn't resist - nothing to do with Tim's tags - but cute just the same!!! All coloured with copics.

February Tag

March Tag

April Tag

May Tag

June Tag

July Tag

August Tag

Most of the tags are almost the same as Tim's samples.  However, since I am Canadian - I chose to do the Umbrella Man instead of the Statue of Liberty for July. :)

Keep checking back for the LOs from our recent road trip and more tags!!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Animal Antics Challenge - Simon Says Stamp

Here's my entry for the Simon Says Stamp Animal Antic's Blog Challenge.  I used watercolour paper with Hero Art's stamp, Silhouette Grass Stamp.  I coloured it with green, orange and yellow distress markers and sprayed it with perfect pearls.  After heating it, I added the exclusive Simon Says Stamp Allegro Corner die and inked it with brushed corduroy.  Then, I added pearls on each of the flower centers.  Little Miss MuuMuu is a Magnolia stamp, that I coloured with copics, added brown Spica markers to the hair above the hooves, his tail and fur between his ears.  The flowers are all coloured with Spica markers.  The flowers, hooves, tail and tuff of hair are covered with glossy accents.  I have seen the sentiment before and hand wrote it.  Thanks for looking!!!

Simon Says Stamp!

We just came home from our yearly road trip. This time, one of our destinations was Columbus, Ohio.  Heidi, President of www.simonsaysstamps.com was able to meet us at a mall for coffee.  It truly seemed like I had known her forever and we could have talked for hours and hours.  It was so great to find someone who truly has the same passion of stamping and scrapbooking.  We have emailed each other and spoken a few times on the phone, but only regarding an order...We will definitely be getting together, again.  Her daughter, who was with us, is adorable and her son, who is quickly becoming an amazing T!M scholar was with another family member for the evening.  It was a shame we had to drive to Cleveland....I think we wouldn't have stopped our chatter!!! Even my husband left us to go shopping, while we talked.

Here is a picture of us!!!

Here are a few cards I have made since I have returned.  Most include many items that can be purchased as Simon Says Stamp.

This stamp is from the Simon Says Stamp Collection - You can do Anything - the tape is new Washi Tissue Tape and the stamp is Telephone Marci from La La Land Stamps, coloured with copics.  The paper is from one of the Magnolia collections.

The stamp is another exclusive stamp from SSS, Shoot for the Stars.  The Magnolia stamp, Lillyrose, the dragon, coloured with copics, and the matching paper.

I just recently got all Dyan Reaveley's Dylusion sprays. I had a great time with them to create this vibrant background.  The stamps are from SSS - Shoot for the Stars.  With copics, I coloured La La Land's Travel Marci.  I think some of the flowers are Prima.

This Christmas card has Christmas paper from Magnolia and the stamp is Winter Skating Tilda, coloured with copics.

The stamp is from Simon Says Stamp.  The Kraftin Kimmie - Gaia - from www.onecrazystamper.com is coloured by copics.

The exclusive Bella Bloom Craft Die from Simon Says Stamp, made this beautiful flower.  I just used cardstock to create it, but I am looking forward to use some other mediums to create some cool flowers.  The canvas tape is inked with Hero Arts - Chalk Red.  The thank you stamp is another one from Simon Says Stamp's exclusive sets.

Workshop with Anna Dabrowska!

In July, I had the opportunity to take a class from Anna at Scrap En Masse, in Alfred, Ontario.  It was a mixed media class with lots of ink and sprays, gesso and pigment.  Anna came to us from Poland and is currently working with Prima.

We all made the front and back of the journal and made a few pages inside.  The journal is by Prima and has a pre-printed pattern that is revealed when ink is applied.  Here are a few pictures.
I have tons of other LOs to post - but this is a start!!!
