It's official!! I can share my exciting news! I am teaching a 10 week course at Wallack's in Nepean on Copics!!! Check here for all the details!! It is the last posted course. Hopefully, I will see you there!
What a great evening and a wonderful group of talented card-makers!!! We had a lot of laughs and everyone was very productive! I hope to see them back in May, when I teach another class! Here are the cards we made...
I also promised to post the website where I get my bulk envelopes - Crystal Clear Envelopes
On Saturday, I taught my first class at Wallack's Art Store. It was great!!! The eager participants were there with a variety of backgrounds and interests. I have been asked to consider some other teaching opportunities...will be thinking of this over the next little bit. Here are some pictures before the class began.
Next, I headed over to Chapter's, in Kanata. Lowell Green was signing his new book. Love him or hate him, I enjoy listening to him when I am driving between work locations. When I told him I was one of his 'hated' teachers (LOL), he signed my book -- To my favourite teacher...
On to the next class - I was preparing for the rest of the weekend for my card class on Wednesday evening. It is through continuing education. If you have missed this one, I will be doing another with the school board in May.
Can't forget Halloween - Tim Holtz posted these on his blog - I made 2 for our front entrance. I have added a picture of our pumpkin, too.
Finally, I can't end this post without another crazy kitten shot. This is Abe --- enjoying 'a cat's life'!
Yes, today is World CardMaking Day? What are you up to? I hope to participate in some challenges and create some cards that need to be made. I have been really sick for the last couple of days - so here's hoping I can maintain the same energy I have right now!!!
