PaperWorks Company Team Challenge!!!

Today, I completed the 4th challenge for our team.

Our 4 teammates are Julz, Christine, Sally & me!

Here is my entry for the technique challenge..

I started with grungepaper. After embossing it with one of Tim Holtz’ folders, I painted it with the stream paint dabber. Using the sandpaper, I removed the raised areas of the embossing. I used the ink applicator tool to add the black soot distress ink onto the raised areas. I used a papertowel with a bit of water to remove the extra distress ink as the paint dabber resists the distress ink. I covered the entire sheet with picket fence distress stickles. I heated it to dry. The image is coloured with copics.

This card was made by Christine

Christine made this fabulous boo-boo kit for her son. He hates wearing shorts because he falls all the time and his knees hurt. He can now carry this in his backpack to daycare. Shorts are a must, it's 34 degrees in the shade right now! Don't you just love useful projects! There are two pockets on the inside. The first pocket has the bandaids (also known as plasters) and the envelope behind it has the antiseptic wipes. The image on the outside is raised on scrap ez-mount leftovers. I just tuck the flap behind the image and the whole thing stays closed. Be sure to check out Christine's blog!

Julz created this cute little bag for tea & a square spring card with a removable bookmark using a ChiChiMemories.com digi stamp! Be sure to check out her blog for more details on how she made this great project!

I miss him so much.

This stampavie stamp is so cute!  I used my copics to colour the image.

All Tim Holtz products!!!
The bird cage was painted with pearl paint dabber and then coloured with alcohol inks.
The bird has distress ink and then distress stickles on him.

I used distress inks to colour various parts of the butterfly.
Then, I used distress stickles on top to match the ink.  I can't remember who makes the sentiment stamp...

Tilda from Magnoli - coloured with copics.  The pp is American Crafts.

Edwin is coloured with copics and the sentiment stamp is from Michaels.
The edging around the red cs is Tim Holtz' tissue tape!

My first Whiff of Joy stamp!  I coloured her with copics and added bling with atyou spic pens. The pp is from Jillibean.

The stamp from Sunshine Designs is coloured with copics with added bling from atyou spica pens and stickles.  The pp is basic grey.

OK - so, this sketch is from the 23rd of July.  I still liked the sketch and wanted to try the Tim Holtz tattered floral dies with Moda Basic Grey Fabric - Blush. I found while shopping at a quilt store with my mom.  I added in some grunge paper to give it dimension and strength.  The button is one of Tim's embellishments.  I used Spun Sugar on the grunge paper.  The pp is from Bo Bunny - Jazmine.
