LO Tag

Heidi at SSZ is hosting a LO Tag with twist - I had to not only scraplift a LO that someone else had done, my challenge was to use polka dots....lucky I had this paper!

Passport To Scrap!

Well, I managed to visit all 9 stores participating in the Passport to Scrap!!! In only 2 days!! I went to two stores yesterday - one with Renee and the rest today - with Chris!!!
Wow - we covered a lot of ground and I got a lot of cool things. Now I have to put it all away!!!
I made this LO a few weeks back - using some of the grungeboard that I got from my Secret Sister at SSZ. I painted it with the Twinkling H2Os - Radiant Rain. Neat stuff!!! The paper is BG - from the Cupcake line... I love this shot of Cuddles!

This is for Chris's cousins - who are expecting twins - a boy and a girl!!! I made this wall hanging for my scraproom. I embossed the acrylic flowers, painted them with theTwinkling H2Os - Radiant Rain and then decorated with stickles!
This was a pocket card I did for a challenge...

Changes!

After a lot of thought, I stepped down from the DT position at the Scrapbox. I loved the experience and playing with the new paper before it 'hit the shelves' was a lot of fun. I have a lot of different things going on right now and it wasn't the right fit.
I am going to keep my options open and see what else is out there!!

I did make more things on the weekend - just didn't take all the pics to upload. Hopefully, I will have more energy tonight!!

This is the birthday card, I made for my mom!
This is for Lynne - a friend of the family - the new core'dinations paper is embossed using one of the cuttlebug embossing folders. It goes through my Sizzix! The BG rub-on slipped...ugh.
This is for Asha - her first birthday! The card was inspired by a card done by Michy.
This is an acrylic heart. I put alcohol inks on itm then made my own design with stickles! I like the effect!!

SSZ Online Crop!

SSZ Gives Back! For every participant that completes a LO with a flower on it - they are donating $5 to Cancer Research!!! Here is the LO I did - based on a kit from Vicki! We even get a blinky to add to our signature line...


I love these online crops - I get so much done!!! Some LOs that I have been planning to do FOREVER - actually get done. Here's what I have done so far!

This is a punch-it card - just allowing the paper from behind show through...
This is a transparency card - the front flower strip is on a transparency!

This is for April Showers - I used the new CORE'DINATION paper - the inside of the paper is a different colour. I used my new embossing folders and this is what I got!

This was based on a sketch!

I needed to do a page - like I used to - the picture isn't very good - but I didn't crop any of the photos...
This challenge was to use a photo of a flower and make a card. This flower was in our garden last year.

These last two cards were for the 1 on 1 swap - I sent the first kit to Amanda and the second is the one she sent me!

OH!!! I also made it to the NEXT round of the HOT SHOTZ CARD CONTEST!!!! I have to have 50 meaningful posts and create a card with a TECHNIQUE on it - it has to be submitted by next Friday...I will post it when it is done!!!

This is one of the kits that Jenn gave me to make over at the Scrapbox. It is a kit from We R Memory Keepers...

This is using the new CORE'DINATIONS cardstock. The pic isn't very good - but the cardstock has a lighter colour INSIDE - it is not white - so the blue has a lighter blue inside - great for tearing, embossing, or distressing!

This card uses the cardstock too - I put the blue through the paper crimper and sanded the ridges!

I made my own paper flower and used the Gel-A-Tin stamps to make the flowers.

Here are a few different ways to use ribbon. We are putting these up at the store!

I have entered this card into the SSZ HOT SHOTZ card contest!! Grand Prize is to be published in the Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine!!!
