February 29th - Leap Day

Hopefully, it won't take me another 4 years to get caught up, like I have today!!!! Here are two more things I have done. The first is a canvas. I bought the clock mechanism and used the Heidi Swapp clock face.

The ATC is a swap I am doing.

I just got word, we are ready to go on our weekend away. We are off to NavCan to spend the weekend with Tomorrow's Treasures with our host Angie and the special guest - Vicki Boutin!!!!

I made this card for Chris's co-worker - who recently lost his father.
This is my first attempt at Iris Folding - another purchase from Syracuse --- can't wait to try more of this!!!

Valentine's Day Creations

Here are a few things I did for Valentine's Day!

Design Team ShowCase!!!

I have been really busy and getting a lot of things done!!! Here are my Design Team LOs from January...These LOs all used the pp from Imaginisce - 'Loves Me'

The next thing I did was a Bo Bunny word album, with Imaginisce - 'For Peeps Sake' - I gave this one to Jenn and I was compensated with the Family album - which I did in Basic Grey's new 'Two Scoops'

After this, I altered a lunch tin, from ProvoCraft. I used the Manhattan Glimmer Line from Autumn Leaves. I love the Owls! I made the tag out of Tim Holtz's Grungeboard - using a die from my Sizzix Machine!!! Then I covered it with Tim's Paint Daubers!!! The stamp on the tag is from Sassafrass Lass - one of the 'Olivia' stamps.

My next assignment was to create 4 cards, using the pp from Scenic Route - the new Lynden Line.

I got this paper from Tomorrow's Treasures. It was in their kit for January. I wasn't too happy with my purchase at first - different style and colours for me. On the left under the beige ribbon and chipboard is a large pc of lace. It really didn't show up well in the picture. Chris bought me my bracelet while in NYC - the quote is from Glenn ---
I tried the new flocking powder on the chipboard - a little messy - but I like the finished product!
I got lots of new goodies in Syracuse over the weekend - off to play!

2 LOs to show...

This LO is for a LO Tag, over at SSZ. The first person finds a LO in the gallery to scraplift and then her creation is sent to the next person via email. Only when completed, do we see what they all look like. It is kind of like the online version of telephone! I am the last person and we only have 48 hours to complete the challenge. There are 3 groups participating this time, and I am the VERY last person to have it. I received the LO last night around 10pm - so I got up this morning and created this! It is from the International Reading Association Conference, I attended last May. This is for Brenoli's DT challenge at SSZ. I don't normally have time to do the DT challenges. But, I am going to try in the coming months! It was based on a sketch - here's what I came up with!

Sorry - no pics to share! All of them have friends and family on them!!! I went to a 12 hour crop at the Scrapbox last weekend and finished 11 LOs and an altered chipboard house! This weekend we are off to another 12 hour crop in Smith Falls - wonder how much I'll get done there????

Here is my ATC for the Bella swap. They are due at the end of January - can't wait to see what I get in return! This is Bookwormabella!

This is a bookmark, that I finished last night - we are doing a Bella Bookmark swap - they aren't due until the end of March!!! I got going and finished them all. This is Glideabella! Carla posted these CUTE treat-boxes at the crop. I got around to doing one last night. Love it!!! It is really easy to do - it only took me 3 tries!! Ok - so now it is easy....

A few to share..

Here was the 8th LO challenge for the online crop - we had to take 5 different ideas from the Design Team and incorporate it into ours...I have been trying to do this LO for a long time.

Carla posted this 4 coaster container challenge - it is 5 pcs of chipboard tied together with ribbon! So cute - it is going to sit on my scraproom desk!

The January 1 on 1 card kit challenge is complete - I swapped kits with Scrapmilly! The first is the one I sent, and the second is the kit she sent!
