Tim Holtz September Tag!!

Well, I am still have to catch up and complete April-August's tags, but I was inspired early this morning to complete Tim's September tag.  Using his new stencils, which are very cool, I made this tag!  Love the layering and the embossing paste!!

One Crazy Stamper Birthday Challenge

One Crazy Stamper has a birthday card challenge this month and the possibility of being the guest designer for a month.  I have made 2 cards - one with Tim Holtz Techniques.  I used his new stencils, his birthday stamp and his distress paints.  It is the first time I have played with the new stencils.  It was fun to layer all the different colours!!

However, like all my scrapbooking this summer - I am slowly creeping along with projects! 

This is the tag for March!!  I still have a long way to go but I love how this one turned out.

 

Summer Online Card Class - at the end of the summer!

Well, I wasn't able to participate in the class as we were on holidays.  I did some of the cards - here is what I accomplished!!

Summer Card Camp! Week 1 Day 1

I pretty much copied the first card we made in class. I enjoy having the supplies and creating my own.  I changed up the circle that the bee is on and I coloured it differently.  It was fun to pull out the vellum and emboss it.  Love the result, often forget.. The stamps and die cut are all from Simon Says Stamp.  The embossing folder is one of Tim Holtz.

Kraftin Kimmie Challenge

This week's challenge at Kraftin Kimmie is "Guns and Roses" - metal and roses.  Here is a wedding card I created.  The image is from Kraftin Kimmie and coloured with copics. I also used a bit of liquid pearls. The metal is from Tim Holtz.  The flowers are prima and the pp is from Magnolia Stamps.  Thanks for looking!!

Pre-class challenge for the Online Card Class

Here's another card based on a sketch in the pre-class Online Card Class that starts on Monday.  Love this stamp set, Stinkin' Cute', from Simon Says Stamp.  The die cuts are from Simon Says Stamp, too.  I used shaded lilac distress ink and after midnight dylusions ink spray. I coloured the images with copics and spica markers.

Here is a card a created using a Saturated Canary digital image.  I coloured it with copics and glossy accents.  Prima flowers, Kaiser pearls.

One Crazy Stamper July Kraft Colour Challenge

Here is a card I created for the "One Crazy Stamper" Kraft colour monthly challenge.  The stamp is from Kraftin' Kimmie, coloured with copics and accented with white opal liquid pearls on the popcorn.  The Tim Holtz picture wheel die is a piece of Kraft spritzed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist, candy apple red.  The book plate is Tim Holtz.

Retirement card for a colleague!

I made this card based on a card done in the online card class in the spring.  

I used watercolour paper and copics with a water brush to blend the colours.  

The stamps are from Hero Arts.

A second card for Kraftin' Kimmie's guest design team place!

Here, I decided to use some grunge and layer a tag and card with Tim Holtz's ink.  From there, I distressed the edges and made 2 of his rosettes with glossy accents on the centres.  The sentiment is stamped on one of his glass tiles in navy staz-on ink.  Using Tim's pp, I die cut his weathered clock and added it behind the tag. I coloured the Kraftin Kimmie image with copics and added some rhinestones on her cap.

This card was coloured with copics, 2 Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, Tim Holtz die for the grass, Kelly Purkey stamps for the sentiment and sun.  Glossy accents and Kaisercraft rhinestones.
